Had my dad tell me today that I'm going to break my xj because they're not built for offroading like a wrangler. I plan on taking him on a crazy trail to see if I can change his opinion haha

 

my parents used to get upset when jumped curbs and stuff, then i took my dad offroading...after his head hit the roof a couple times he shut up about that

 

i went to jackit 4x4 in ut to get a price on some quick disco's and the dude said man.... why didnt you get a wrangler? i turned around and left. anothe time i was at my local tool store and a guy there was givin me a hand with a carry out for a drill press a bought and he asked what vehicle im driving and i say the gold cherokee and he said oh the thing that looks like a explorer?

 

Same here it took him 2 times to smash his head before he aknowledged my XJ off road.

 

1) What's the big difference between a Grand Cherokee and a Cherokee?

Um no, it is NOT a truck. It's a Jeep, a friggin Cherokee at that matter. GET IT RIGHT.

 

today my friend had 2 go 2 town 2 pick up a clutch 4 his pickup and we needed a rig 2 go in and i said we could take my xj and he said "ya right it shakes to much just driving around here" i said "u should be in it wen i sink the speedo past 100" and on saturday i went and picked up my 6.5 in rough country long arm kit and i tried 2 get a powerstroke 2 race me, i new id loose but he wouldnt do it.

 

I hate when some jackass ask me about my lift and what I paid for it then tells me I waisted my $$ and could have did it alot cheaper with lift blocks and so forth, thats usually when I say you get what you pay for too.

bet you couldnt follow. ( mostly get this from full size owners. they usually end up hopping in with me about 10 feet through the trail cuz their trucks cant squeeze through the trails )
