Default Th eZombie Hunter was broke into in Springfield MO!!!

This goes out to the SORRY S.O.B. that had to use, then steal my shovel and ball hitch to break the window on the Zombie Hunter, my Jeep, to steal my stereo and break my dash all to HELL in Springfield, MO at Bass Pro today and ruined my Wifes Mothers Day. There was a witness, and cameras caught you. I have a vehicle description, plate number and a gooood description of you. You better turn yourself in or hope the SPD catches you before I do, because you have got a ***** whooping coming from one pissed off redneck.

The above message was posted on facebook by me after we got home.
The suspect is a short white male with a long goatee driving a Red Truck, sorry they don't know the make, Plate # Missori 7DD 892. Possibly lives in the Ozark MO area.
This is my Jeep XJ the Zombie Hunter the shovel he stole had the Zombie Hunter name on it and is a yellow fiberglass handled round point. The ball hitch is an old style Reese adjustable with two bolts in the adjustment holes not pins, it has a 2 inch ball.
Any of the Cherokee Forum Brothers that see this truck or hear of anything please let me and Springfield MO Police know.
Thanks guys and gals.
Tater.

That's crazy man. I always thought of SW MO as pretty safe. When I was done there I usually had my car unlocked and sometimes with the key in the ignition. It's also an open carry state, right? So who would break into a vehicle that could have an armed owner?

Yep, shovel was on the outside on the roof rack mounted in custom brackets with large wing nuts on bolts tightened with channel locks. He had a tool of somesort because he cut my trailer light plug off too.

The windows had "Armor Plate Tint", that stuff is tough. Shovel wouldn't break it so he used my big *** tow hitch.

A buddy of mine in Law Enforcement in that area thinks he knows the guy.
He's gonna check him out for me.

Insurance Company SUCKS there not covering jack! Time to switch companies. Been with them since 2008. They just lost 5 vehicles. Oh well

Most car insurance companies don't cover stuff inside, just stuff permanently installed. The other stuff usually goes through your home owners insurance. When I had my XJ broken into the replacement cost was less than my home owners deductable, so I did it out of pocket. I then installed a loud alarm system.

There is how you deal with a thief... In that order...

Here in Benton, KY, I never lock my doors and almost always leave my keys in the ignition. We have a low vehicle theft rate and I figure that if someone is going to break into my vehicle, I would rather take a chance of getting it back with out busted glass or busted ignition. If someone does take my ride, they better do it quick, as I never spend much time in stores when I go in, so they better hope they are in and gone before I come out...

I had a bunch of friends go to SMS. This was about 8-10 years ago & that place had some "dark" areas.

Was supposed to, along with $3500 in accessories coverage and roadside assistance . That's what we were paying for. They said all that was on my Wife's Xj, an unmodified '90 Limited. But yet when her engine blew a year ago in Branson they told us it just had liability on it that my Jeep had all the coverage!
I have switched insurance companies already no more Progressive.
