Just finished installing my teralow 4:1, also added custom made skid plate

Is that just a regear for a NP231? Is it cheaper than a Rubicon 4:1 swap?

can't hurt. with it set up like that, clearly almost none of the load is being applied directly to the bottom of the frame rail like most cross members. I'd be nervous about bouncing hard off the middle section and having it want to bend your outside mounts slightly.. over time

unlikely. but I like the peace of mind

Not done still needs a lil reinforcement, don't know if I will finish it may just do a 5.3 swap one day

You won't be able to use the 4:1 if you do a 5.3L swap with an automatic tranny.

Output shaft on a 4l60/65e is massive, 27 splines to be exact. The Teralow is a 23.

I've been down this road a time or two.

If your going v8 swap np205 or dana 300 would be better,Both you can do a ton to from doublers or get the lowmax gears for.
