Default taking the steering wheel off

how do you take the steering wheel off w/o the airbag going off? I have this xj book that says just pop the cover off and go to town but Mine has the airbag in it.

there are 4 nuts on the backside of the steering wheel that hold the bag assembly in. You must first unscrew the bolt on the top of the wheel to "disarm" the bag *assuming you have a 95 as your profile states*. Then remove the 4 nuts and the bag will come out. Remove the center nut and use a steering wheel puller to pull the wheel off.

When you undo the bolt to disarm the bag, I suggest standing outside the jeep and unscrewing it, just incase. Also it will not come all the way out but it will stop when you've reached the end of the bolt.
