Being that so many bolts on are our trucks are torx and I had to deal with the stupid oil filter adapter today. I found these at our local Lee Valley and basically turn a socket into a wrench. They are nice cause they slip through the box end and lock in place.

These have been around for awhile. I've never had a need for them so never have gotten any. Even with the oil filter adapter haha... most of my 3/8 ratchets are close to the same size as those adapters make a wrench... maybe one day though they will be in my toolbox haha

im talking about the anvil itself. At least the ones at harbor freight. The anvil plus the box end wrench thickness pretty darn close to my ratchets haha....i use my ratchet wrenches on my torx bits once in awhile. Similar to this and a ratchet. But that's only if I'm too lazy to go get my other tools hahah

It definately looks a few mm lower profile than a ratchet + socket combo, even my slim Snap-On ratcheting wrench heads.
Did it fit and work well for removing the Oil Filter Adapter?

Only issue is since the bit locks the wrench in place I unscrewed it too far then had troubles getting my bit out.
