you have an automatic or manual transmission? 4.88 and 35's is generally the rule of thumb. I am happy with my 4.56 gears/auto/33's. but come on man that big a tire and you're still thinking about gas?
4.10 gears can be found in 2.5L xj's

No i'am not worried about gas at all but even with bigger tires i would like having the most MPG i can get with those tires im not going to just let it go as low as possible when there is things i can do to help it is all im saying. I'm not running the 35s right now because of the gears and im more than content with my 33s right now but i was thinking of getting another XJ and putting my old lift on it and getting a bigger one for the XJ i have now or putting a bigger lift on a newly purchased XJ higher more of like a future planning
For now and more than likely for awhile ill be running 33s I was just asking about the 35s cause i have them sitting around and wanted to use them
