well ill be running 33s mostly until I get the 35s put on which right now i dont know when that will be happen if it does. So are the 4.88 what i need for 33s or will i be better of with 4.10s?

Ok. What year if there is a specific does the 8.8 come with the 4.10 gears? I think ill just go 4.10 gears and get the 4.10 gears for the front dana from serious offroad and the name locker i'am gonna get is still up in the air

I think im gonna just put new gears in the axles i have now then when one breaks ill upgrade to new axles

I still recommend 4.88's. you'll rev a little high on the freeway but it's worth it if you plan on 35" tires someday

Keep the 8.25.
Swap out your low pinion dana 30 for a high pinion.

Got mine for my old YJ from bone yard. $175. Got the 4:10 with limited slip. I had the D35 with that though. I'll keep the 8.25 on XJ though.

Did the high pinion come with the 4:10 gears or did you put them in? I'am still up in the air about what gears I want. 4.88 seems to be what most people say but i dont wanna kill my gas to much so I was unsure on which would be better 4.56 or 4.88
