ok i just ordered a 3.5" lift from RE and they wanted 180 per shock for the lift. are there any shocks that would fit this that are good and not too pricey?

I used Rancho 9000. I think I paid a hundred a piece.

RC has shocks they have the Hydro 8000 for $30 a piece and the nitro for $35 a piece. I don't know how good these shocks are but there are cheaper.

Skyjacker has shocks from $42-50. I have them on my jeep, their not the best but not to bad.

Gabriel Pro-Gards.$25 each O'Riellys or Autozone.
Fronts, from Jeep Wrangler YJ, you will have to reuse your cross bar pins or get bar pin eliminators.
Rear, Jeep Comanche Pickup, same thing on the Cross bar pins.
Yep I'm cheap.

Lots of different shocks out there that do a good job for a lot lower price than 180. OME shocks are only 83-85 and they are great shocks, James Duff shocks are real good and I only paid 38 or 39 dollars for the ones for my Blazer.

Doetch Tech makes some nice shocks and I paid $100 for both my fronts. Big improvement over the RC shocks that were on there
