Default SCORE!

Went to the junk yard yesterday after work and scored this D44 out of an 87 Laredo. To make it even sweeter it matches my front diff, so no need to re gear for now. Im thinking lunch box locker to keep it on the cheap for now, what you guys think?

Nice find, and $80.00 is a killer price too!!

I picked up one a few weeks ago at Pick-A-Part in Wilmington. Same ratio as my XJ, and I have a Power-loc sitting on the shelf that I'm going to install after I pull everything apart, clean it out and check bearing Etc.

What yards do you go to out there in HH?

Sorry, I don't have any experience with the lunch box locker, but I'm sure a lot of people here on the CF have and will probably chime in soon.

Jealous. I'm on a call list for 3 different JYs in my area, and I call them regularly, and I can't even get a whiff of a 44. Nice find!

Damn then irriguardless you got a good deal. Id recomend a Powertrax No-Slip locker for it. Or if you want a full out locker get a Detroit...there pricey though.

They work great, are easy to install, and pretty cheap

I would like to go with a better locker but funds are limited so Im going with the least expensive.
