Rustys rx200 shocks
I'm also in the market for new shocks for the front. I don't want anything over $200-$215 for the front set. Anyone have reviews on these?

I'd jab a hot poker in my eye before I put anything Rusty's on my XJ, but here's a thread about them.

I've been running the ones pictured for less than a year now. The performance to date has been fine. I'm not a shock expert so that's about all I can say; they do look good though. (:

I looked very closely at them for several months and did make up my mind on them to buy a set. But right before I did a friend who owns a parts store called me and told me he could get me Bilstein's for a very good price and he did. I have ran many of Rustys products and personally never had a single problem.

Exactly what products have "YOU" ran and had problems with? Please post a few of the photos showing the problems on "YOURS".
BTW your link showed nothing that meant anything. Most all that mouth the products I have found only do so because of posts like those. Like has been said before here statements like this without photos are worthless. I post about nothing about anything I do not have or have not used myself period.
Thanks,
Fred

Bilsteins have a great reputation and a lifetime warranty from what I see. It's what I have on mine, they seem to work just fine! It is entirely possible for a place who contracts out alot of work like RC to have good & bad products at the same time. There is little to no chance those shocks are made at the same place as their leaf springs. Call and ask who makes them!
