Rusted out rockers
Just wondering how you guys fix the rusted rockers? Im not thinking fancy body work. Maybe just cut right above the highest rust spot straight across and weld something bigger on the frame that comes out to where the rockers are? What all did you guys do? Pics of what you did would be great.

Rock Auto has replacement rocker panels that you weld on. BUT if it's time to replace, you might as well upgrade. I'm currently trying to source out some box tubing to replace mine.

Just finished doing mine
Lots a pics
It's hard to see but I welded angle iron to the inner rocker and then slid the 2x6 into it and welded them together
Also welded a 1" strip of 1/8th along the top of the 2x6 to make it easier to weld to the sheet metal
