ROAD TRIP !!
Well tomm after work me and my lady (and by lady I mean the xj) are leaving kittanning PA and heading for Louisville KY it's 419.9 miles one way. She's got 117k on her and around 8 in of lift I threw the 31's on because I don't wanna wear my swampers out on the way lol. What do you think my odds are of a problematic trip? I'm taking my tools anyway

Why do people get all geeked up and worried when it comes to driving for more than a five mile round trip? If you can drive twenty miles without a hitch, you should have no problem going 2 thousand miles. Have a nice trip.

I've driven mine on a 1200 mile trip to California twice a month for the last 4 months and never had one issue. Mine has 177K on it...would even hesitate to drive it across the country! :0

Just drive her like a granny and you will get there! (with good gas mileage too) my prob is after driving that long I get bored and wanna liven it up with excess speed or offroad detours... Resist! Cuz a tow home from a busted water pump or cracked part is not cheap...

My fav beside off roading, I take mine from so cal to nor cal(mammoth) every year for camping in the summer, about a 800 mile round trip. X2 on trusting it to take me cross country! I'm on 33s with 4.5" lift btw. Have fun! Make sure to explore old dirt roads!
