If they play nice they get their deliveres early. If not its at 4:59pm. Bad boy's Bad boy's , what cha gonna do when they come for you. Ha ha. I am going to stomp on your package and send it back. Lol.

I could buy the rocker height of the tub being the difference in the law but, really what difference in safety does that extra few inches the Wrongler has over the Cherokee, of rocker height, provide????? Sounds like a BS law some Wrongler owner put into effect.

[QUOTE=clayton3854;1124962]idk how to word this or what terminology to use but the reason is on wranglers the lip of the bottom at the bottom of the door is a certain height that the law "decided" was high enough to make it safe to drive doorless, the lip of the body on xj's is i beleive less then half of a wrangler, he may not have non this if he didnt say it but i know in most states while cops dont really care bc they know ppl do it for offroading but that is the legallity to the reason for you getting pulled over, again sorry for my sloppy explanation and terrible terminolgy. but when i looked into going doorless here in MA thats what i found but again many of my friends/ppl at school have done it in xj's with no issues with the po-po.[/QUOTE
Okay but you could still fall out even if theres a lip or not, i had a friend that was riding with his brother and when they went around a corner he went flying out of it. but if yuo have your seat belt on then you would be fine

should have ratted the guy out, who pulled you over, to the desk sergeant. I hate cops who harrass lifted rigs just to do it or just because their bored.

In oregon they can write you a ticket for being doorless IF the rig did not originally come doorless or with doors that lifted off from the factory. That's where your CJ/wranglers, some early broncos, and scouts come in.
Hate to burst your bubble ron about "not in the regs" if you look again and see the little sentence that goes something like, "modifications to the exterior of the vehicle" that's where chop tops, exo's, doorless, and chopped doors comes in.
I have spoken with city, county, state cops and to lawyers about this. The basic answer is the law is on the officers side and the law is "left to the officers interpretation". So if the cops wants to be a dick, he's gonna be a dick and stop you.
