I thought this would be the best place to get a quick opinion. We are getting a new car and Im deciding on whether or not to get rid of my jeep. Its a 99 Jeep Cherokee Limited. I bought it 6 or 7 years ago with 132,xxx miles on it and its now up to 155,xxx. The paint doesnt look to bad and the interior isnt bad. Some rust on the lower part of the body and the drivers side seat is torn and headliner hanging down. Other than that not bad. I would say fair condition all around. Anyways the dealership offered 1500. Im wonder if I should take this or try to make more on my own. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks for your time and any questions Ill answer as quickly as possible

If you are looking to get rid of it then that aint a bad offer. thinks about it this way... you could probably get a little more selling it yourself. but you could dick around for weeks or months trying to. $1500 right then and there is hard to pass up if you ask me

A little trick i learned is clean it up get it detailed and if you can try to fix the headliner. It should boost the price up. Including the engine bay for some reason people love a spotless engine bay in cars

Just trying to picture it from your description. Sounds like some rocker rust, the driver's seat being torn, and headliner sagging describes what? 75% of the Jeeps out there. LOL. I am thinking that would sell for $2500 pretty quick around here. New England by the way. Also '99 being the year most people want and 155K is nothing.
