Thanks. And the bumper came with the Jeep when I bought it. It's hollow unfortunately. Getting too many dents. Going to look into upgrading soon. And that tint is turning blueish/purple, which is why I bought new tint, which arrived yesterday! 35% smoked in the front driver/passenger, 20% everywhere else, excluding the windshield!

Oh I thought of more
1. People who leave the little metal tabs on the rear corners once they take the plastic corners off.
2. Roof racks that are never used
3. Tons of offroad lights. Unless you do jeepspeed
4. Mud tires on a jeep that mainly sees pavement.
5. Debadging your xj

JRC pretty much everything. Their products look great, but they're overpriced and I hate how everything they have is basic and has to have all kinds of stuff added on for full functionality.
Like their "DIY" rear bumper. $265 for some CNC'd 3/16 that doesn't tie into the unibody, doesn't include the receiver, and still has to be assembled and finished?
You could buy a 2'x4' piece of 3/16 plate for around $75 and cut the same pieces out in a couple hours.
If you're paying ~$350 for a fully functional bumper that you still have to bend, weld, prime, paint, and seal you're out of your mind.

Sometimes people don't have the time, tools, or know-how to make a nice looking bumper.

Well no kidding, but if you can weld well enough put one of their bumpers together you should be competent enough to cut steel. It's not like 3/16 is all that thick either. It's not like someone with a welder doesn't have a grinder and a drill.
Don't get me wrong, JCR makes some great products.

I'm talking bout the guys who get mud tires, but go wheeling maybe but 3 times a year. Or the trucks mainly used for towing but seem to have mud terrains. The people who do it for show.
If you spent $600 in light then I would hope you use them all the time. Now the guys who have 6 on the roof, 4 on the bumper, and got night wheeling like..never.. then do you see my point?

No one on this forum actually wheels their Jeep. All their avatars are photo shopped and everything is for show.
Now, go back to Jeepforum where all the hardcore wheelin is done.
