Bumpstops allow longer travel shocks, longer travel shocks allow more articulation.

sorry buddy i got 12" travel shocks fully open at 28.5 inches and trust me the one was fully open yesterday at the cliffs i had it on 3 wheels and got out with no help

cool story.

I just don't understand why you say bumpstops are pointless without having any actual experience building a capable rig and utilizing them.

12. Hood spacers...looks silly.

15. Dual steering stabilizers.

17. 'Rubicon' stickers on an XJ. Just go buy one and end the pain.
5- strongly agree

6- we like to call them "jay leno's chin" bumpers

7- most are actually hot air intakes

9- i can be a fan of that actually if its the right wheel.

12- looks silly, yes, but my black xj in the american southwest fully loaded with gear required them, it made enough of a difference to justify.

14-yup

15-yup, abolutely tarded'

17- i can agree to that

well i don't have them never had them the stock ones were gone when i got this one but can understand if you truly need them from blowing shocks and smashing your frame but i have no chance in doing that. but some people blow this topic way out of the ballpark bc they are afraid they might break something. well the only real way to find out is run you rig and do a test if you smash a shock or get into the frame then get them but some people blow there 40 to 100 dollars on something that won't help in anyway. now for the front i need to get bigger bump stops bc i can see that i can do some damage up front with shocks or body bc i want to upgrade to long arms and rehab the front lift with new coils and shocks

what kind of lift you running in the back are those the auto zone shackles bc i have the same ones and the leaf pack looks really small

clayton leaf springs, rocky road outfitters shackles. i would never run the autozone chevy drop shackles, seen them crush all too often.

pretty much the same setup here except i had the shocks mounted outside the framerails.

so your running a shock hoop on top and then the bottom is mounted on top of the leaf now i see why you would need bump stops that is a given for you i just hate people that say you NEED to have bump stops and most people don't bc they don't want to do the fab work like you did i like the setup tho

geez, some of you are awfully sensitive today, they are just peoples opinions.

im all for lots of bumper stickers, i love them, if i could cover my whole jeep in them i would. BUT, i cant stand when you see a truck with all the stickers from the ebay 5 gazillion pack of performance stickers for 30 bucks. I see the cars with 3 JEGS stickers, 2 comp cams stickers, a holley carb and 4 edelbrock stickers (on their fuel injected, completely stock powertrain) and all i can think is "WHY!?!" and also, the "pepboys special", any thing chrome that could stick on your car.

hey dude, yea you with the lowered s10-blazer on 24's and rubber band tires, you dont need 11 chrome "4x4" badges on your truck. i want to run you over.

Those plastic stick on hood scoops that do absolutely nothing. Stop it. Stop it now.
Although they look quiet hilarious on minivans.
