Hey guys I'm looking to get my antenna for my CB. It's either going tog be a firestik or a wilson flexible. I was wondering if I could get photos of your antenna and how tall it is. I'll probably be buying PlumCrazy's mount so that or a similar mount is a plus!
Thanks everybody!

PlumCrazy's mount is really nice! I'm still going to be getting one from him myself, just had some substantial setbacks :P

Does anybody know if a three foot would not be enough for good reception? My main concern is that I park in a parking garage with 7' of clearance and with the coming lift u font want to risk damaging the tip.

I use a Wilson little wil magnetic antenna, the magnet is real strong and the whip is quite flexible. Before you go in a parking garage you could just lay in over.

Get a 3 or 4 ft firestick and the spring and you'll be good. You won't have any problems with the parking garage. The spring is nice because if you were to hit the antenna it now has play and will just spring back in to position. They are excellent on the trails too.
FYI- if you run the magnetic ones for the roof, they tend to fall over when you hit something like branches in the trail. Last weekend my buddy used one temporarily until he got his fire stick. He had to get out about 5 times to put it back in position. It's quite the PITA.

Red82: I've got a magnetic antenna similar to what Illuminator's suggesting. Mine came with the Jeep from the previous owner (and incidentally, looks like you and I have the same exact model). Can't provide a photo at the moment but will try to this weekend.
