Oops; The Mistake/Fail Thread

Let's face it. No matter how good of a mechanic you might be, you've messed up at some point working on your XJ.
This is very similar to the "what did you do to your Jeep today" thread, only it's about mistakes and accidents!
Let me start this off:
Today I was finishing my retrofitted projector headlight conversion by cutting into the metal header panel support so that the projectors would sit in flush. Problem was, I cut too far on the passenger side and ended up hitting my battery and ruining it!

well... ugh as much as i HATE to admit this
one time, i guess i did not tighten the front lug nuts enough
on the front right, and after about a hour of wheelin
some how i noticed i was missing 3 out of 5 lug nuts
i dont even know HOW the 36" tire stayed on lol

When I replaced my radiator, I forgot the make sure the pegs on the bottom of the mech fan shroud were lined up and in place. Needless to say, the first mile of rattle from the shroud making love to the fan was too much to deal with lol.

haha I replaced my radiator last saturday and decided not to put the fan shroud back on because it was way too much of a hassle

While changing spark plugs a huge arc jumped from my wrench extension to the XJ.... I then stopped what I was doing and disconnected the battery...
