So i am thinking of using this harbor fright compressor i used to use for my garage till i upgraded and wire it to be OBA. How can i do this? I was thinkin just cut the plug and wire it to my battery.? Would this work? Give me some feed back.....

this will not work unless by "work" you mean start a fire. your compressor for your home is 120 volt a/c. your jeep is 12 volt d/c. alternating current and direct current components are not interchangeable.

yea i just dont wanna plum it all, and i have the extra air compressor since i just bought a new one, so i figured why not install it into the jeep, i now it will be enough to run repairs on the trail adn air up. and it wont hurt nothing to run it off the inverter.
before starting your project make sure the compressor will do what you need/ I have an oil less comp .9cfm I don't have elec. spec's I run it off a hard wired 750 watt inverter. previously 250 watt it'll air me up = if I bring a book and lunch
