Default New track bar

My jeep is lifted 4inches an my track bar has play in it so I'm gonna replace it. Can I use a regular track bar or do I need an adjustable one?

At 4" you either need an adjustable or you can relocate a stock track bar.

relocating a stock track bar is not optimal.

Get an adjustable one. Relocating the trackbar at 4 inch of heigh definitely is out of question.

Optimal? You're right, it's not.

Not true. I had it relocated at 4" for months. Axle was perfectly fine and centered. Look at above post about being optimal though.

I was just saying that because its close to the edge, with the possibility of the bolt tearing through the bracket.

Unless you had trackbar relocation bracket installed? Or even welded extra steel plate around the new hole?

It was relocated 3/4". This was on my 2wd axle.

To the OP, save yourself some hassle down the road and get an adjustable.
