I wish the people that film and post stuff in the States would have the same production values as the Euro folks that post some great videos. Nice location, the right music, great camera angles, nicely done on all accounts. But damn that diesel is noisy!

Awesome video!

(Also checked your vehicle profile - the TD and 4.0L gas engines have the same transmissions, so you'd have an AX-15 if not the Peugot)

Many thanks my friend. I did my best! I hope you like the rest of my videos! As for the diesel, I'm afraid it's not in great shape, it bangs quite hard and smokes quite badly too... I will eventually buy another 2.1 diesel with a healthier engine and intact unibody (mine is severely bent and bashed) so I'm using this one until it finally passes away...

I'm afraid not! I have a French service manual (Revue Technique) and they say that I have an AX-5... I think that it is the 2.5L VM (the updated diesel engine they put in starting from 1996) that has the AX-15!
A friend has a 2.5L XJ, I'll ask him to confirm, but on the 2.1L it's definitely an AX-5...

(and thanks! ;-) )

Lol that's way beyond me!! I did discover a youtube video of an SJ Cherokee Chief being converted to a 4BT. It sounds brutal!! I have no idea what he used for a trans and TC though...

Thank you! :-)
