Getting rid of my cherokee
Hey guys, hope everyones weekend went well.
In a bit of a situation, my 96 jeep cherokee needs to go, as I am moving to indiana for an internship, and the can't afford to fix the transmission and take it with me.
Anyone know the best way to go about getting the most money for it? It was very well taken care of, minor dents, nothing serious, never been wrecked, premium sound system, engine runs great and 178k miles on it.
I'm in Tallahassee, FL.
I'm not mechanically inclined, a few friends to post it on craigslist and see what becomes of it. Any help is appreciated, and if anymore information is require, let me know.

edit nvm. transmission is busted? see what you can get for it on CL
theres a premium jeep wrecking yard here that only takes jeeps. they offer good money for jeeps especially if they run. they offered me $250 for a jeep hacked up with no interior or axles. I'm sure you could pull $1000 at a place like that for a complete running jeep

I bought my big 93 for 900 with 0 issues and it has had nothing big happen in the 3 years I've had it, I bought a different 93 that was drivable but the transfer case was going out for 600. To me a bad tranny is worth maybe 7-800

Maybe in Kansas. I'm in PA, seems the closer you get to the shorelines everything is waaay more money. like, for example, how much are cigarettes by you.... like a pack of marlboro reds. here in PA, they're $5.50-$6.50. In NY, they're $14
