I think this thread is quite comical guys thinking their rigs have aggressive stances when on 3" and run 31's lol. Come on guys step up your game 3.5" and 35's rock bumpers and armor then till have an aggressive stance !

You did read what the OP asked for, right?

I noticed there hasn't been a response by the OP on this yet either. And he wonders why his Jeep doesn't feel solid. A unibody structure with rivets holding the floor in place. Yeah, THAT'S smart.

Depends on how he did it! If he just cut out rusted area, but left the rest of floor intact, then laying a whole sheet down with rivets is fine.
If he cut out the entire old floor, then New metal needs to be welded in.
Properly riveted patches are just as strong as welded patches. Just a lot more work!

To the OP, cut and fold your fenders. You will never look back after that.

Well, judging by those pictures, the cancer looked pretty bad. He said he used stainless as well, then bedlined it. My guess is the cancer is still there, he just laid a sheet of stainless down, and riveted in place. OP, please tell me I'm wrong....if I'm not, then that pig is wearing lipstick...

x2. Lots of rust along the unibody rails and the new flooring needs to be welded to the rails, not riveted. A rivet will not give the needed strength that a good weld will.

hey sorry I haven't responded to this in a while. What I did with the cancer was...
1. Pull entire interior (obviously)
2. Vacuumed all loose rust
3. Sanded
4. Cleaned it all really good
5. Applied rust reformer
6. Bedlined (multiple coats)
7. Fit stainless steel in place, and drilled all my holes
8. Riveted, with stainless steel rivets (through strong, solid metal)
9. Checked all rivets top and bottom for tightness (redid it if they weren't caught well)
10. Areas that weren't able to be patched with stainless steel were patched with something called "bondo glass" it's like regular bondo, but with fiberglass strips in it. I used a special "window screen" material to cover the area, then smoothly spread the fiberglass bondo. This was only done for small areas.
11. Bedlined again after all bondo dried.
12. Admired, then reassembled my interior.

Before someone calls me out on the bondo, I know that bondo is not waterproof, or a suitable material for rust repair. But the bondo glass has strength to it because of the fiberglass. Am I happy about using rivets and fiberglass bondo to patch up me jeep? No. I would've loved to get all new floorpans and get them professionally welded in. Maybe in the future I can do that.
