Where did you guys mount yours? Any pics? We all have basically the same vehicles, so I was wondering pro's and con's and why. I just bought a new cb made by cobra. I also would like some advice on mounting the diesel antenna. Any advice? Thanks everyone in advance.

I Mounted my cobra right above my rearview mirror, and mounted my Diesel flex antenna on the rear driver side right near the tail light on a firestick antenna bracket with a heavy duty spring.

That's exactly where I was thinking about mounting the cb. Do you like it? Does it beat into you while you wheel? Any regrets about it?
As far as you diesel antenna location, any regrets? Anything you would do different? Do you have any close up pics of your antenna?
Looks awesome by the way!

My CB is mounted under the console near my right leg with a mount for the speaker/mic up on the dash.

The antenna is mounted on the bumper just behind the tail light.

I like the CB mount location as it is easily controllable while driving and the speaker/mic location is very good for accessibility and hearing.

The antenna mount I have mixed feelings on. It is a bit annoying in that it gets in the way of the hatch opening and closing so have to pull it out of the way when operating the hatch. However, I like the position in that I think on the trail it should be pretty non-obstructive.

Mines mounted on the passenger side. Never had anyone complain about it and it gives 'em something to do on trail rides. I run a magnetic base antenna, so can't really help you with mounting yours.

Wherever you put the antenna, make sure it has a spring otherwise it may decide it would rather be in a tree than on your jeep. Don't ask me how i know this lol.

I bought a diesel truckers antenna off Craigslist for 10 bucks with mounting hardware. It has a spring at the bottom. If it sucks I've been working on a firestick on eBay for 24 bucks.

I've got that cb. I haven't hooked it up yet. Any advice? Does it suck? Is it good?

Any good ways of mounting the antenna above or next to the rear light housings?

So I mounted my cb. Thanks for all the help and pics. I started fabbing up an antenna holder. What do you guys think? I need to shape it more and paint it. How big should I leave it? I want to make sure its strong. Any advice?
