If I were you I'd be hoping that an individual finds it and hauls it off before The Man finds it.

They have "the man" in Canada? Would they be even able to get owner ID info for a vehicle registered in the US? Who cares?

Apology accepted. Lol

Don't know if you answered it yet, but was there any particular reason you packed up and went to Alaska? Just seems like an extreme move, a cool one though. Did you get money for living there yet?

Life is full of tough choices.

But it'll be a great story someday.
Best of luck in AK.

Well, we moved from New Mexico to the D.C. area because my gf got into grad school out there. We were there for about 2 years, she finished and we just wanted to go somewhere different... Alaska. why not. So she got a sweet job up here and i work on airplanes so it was pretty easy getting a job up here.

Yes, but they don't just write you a check when you cross the border. You have to be here for an entire year, a january-december. So I won't be getting money until 2015. Everything is just more expensive up here though

lol, You need more dependents. My tax refund is usually 5 times the highest payout in Alaska.

Then you don't need more dependents. In that case your statement doesn't add up.

two tax returns would be ~$22k. One Alaska credit would be between 2k and 3k at it's highest.

Either way, I love tax season.

Come back and tell us you still love Alaska when the wind comes down those mountain canyons at -40*! When you have to put a fuel fired heater on an aircraft engine overnight to get it started! When you can pick up 10W oil in gobs in your hand! Then tell us you still love Alaska!

it'll get hauled to the scrap yard and if he ever goes across the border or gets pulled over in B.C. thats when they'll nab him. it's not like they'll hop on their horses and try to find him...
