Did you at least tell the people at the hunting lodge they could have it if they went to get it? How long ago did you leave it there?

Either way, it's your Jeep. I would have never left it sitting there with no intentions of going to get it.

I'm sorry, stuff like this just blows my mind.
i have! and i tried to find a log to slap under the jeep and drag along lol... guess you had to be there

i think around china town maybe? at a travelodge. they even had cameras! but the police said they were useless, just shadows walking around. and in the morning when we found my jeep broken into, there was also a car that had been broken into AND a few piles of glass that had been swept into a pile from previous break ins!! wish i would have seen those before we went in...

Hey, look what you replaced the ZJ with...

I would have come far closer to leaving a ZJ there than I would have an XJ.

lol thought about torching it

what made it worse was after we got our stuff to the hunting lodge, the road ahead flooded...was going to be closed for a few days... so since we just wanted to get the f out of there, and we needed to get to alaska, we had to backtrack past the jeep...

I still don't get it. All I meant was, it would suck more leaving an XJ there vs. a ZJ.

I mean you can't really expect most of the people on this site to not be XJ biased. 90% of owners here own XJ's. Not ZJs.

We have 97 V8 ZJ in the family. It's certainly one of the top 3 biggest POS vehicles ever owned around here.

ok true true. I apologize then. I just felt it was a little harsh...no one wants to leave any jeep behind.

I sure hope, for your sake, you took the tag, vin plates and any information in the car that links to you...

Glad you made to Alaska in one piece, altho a bit lighter than you left. I have had to leave a couple vehicles on the side of road due to it being cheaper to buy another than to try to fix it at that particular location.
Miss you being around, hope you can make it back east at some point in time. Good luck
