does anyone use or have a laptop in their XJ?
(something like this? )

Is there a place to buy one?

I work at a place that sells them. Gamber Johnson is a good source.

I could probably get you a deal.

I've installed a ton of those in phone company vehicles. They make life for a passenger pretty cramped and can really wobble if there is any kind of vibration.

I myself don't see the necessity of a laptop in my XJ. There isn't too much I would do with it. That I can not do with my smart phone. Which most of the time (the phone) I keep off, when out in my jeep. DNR I could see using them. Maybe to operate their robotic deer or something. JMO!

how much do they usually run? not xj specific either. they would be really helpful with work imo.

I think they were Johnson. They were a locking docking station for the company laptop and they had a tiny printer that mounted to the stand with ubolts.
