Literally everything.
All my hand tools(craftsman 200-something piece, breaker bar, jack(high lift and floor jack, jack stands, hammer, mallet, wood, TP, tape(all kinds), zip ties, wire, rope, tie downs, bungee cords, window punch, 4-way, spare tire/wheel(full size), mechanics gloves, punch set, exacto knife, 8" boot knife, 2x tarps, flint/magnesium fire starter, oil, coolant, trans fluid, power steering fluid, gear oil, shop towels, regular towels, batteries, 2-3 flashlights, 2x 20k tow ropes, code reader/eraser, my CCW .380 AMT Backup, CPS, relays, fuses, MAP sensor, and a bunch of stuff I'm probably forgetting.
Need to throw some dry cloths, socks, some food and a case of water in there too but I'm running out of room in the cargo area. Dad is a retired Marine and always told me, "I rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it." On board air tank is one of the next items, and probably a fairly large power inverter (1000w+), and some jerry cans.
Yeah it's probably overkill, but my biggest complaint is not being able to secure it all, so things tend to crash around when at high articulation angles or up and down steep hills.

That's why I have this everything I listed and more stuff fits in the drawers and behind the seat and can't go anywhere and I can strap stuff on top of it still
Everyones covered it pretty well. Definitely a good thread. Just wanted to chime in on the harbor freight tools. The Pittsburgh series or whatever it is has proven to be much much stronger than craftsman and as already stated they have a lifetime warranty and its about the same amount of a hassle as Sears to get something replaced. Not serious at all. Ive ended up with the craftsman tools in the jeep and the Pittsburghs as my fulltime tools. I personally recommend them. Especially if your looking for a relatively cheap set for the jeep.
Yeah I would like to make something similar that can hold everything in place. I use my tool box, and a craftsman bag, and a rubbermade box. But it still slides around in the back.
