The XJ is legend. There's no way Jeep could bring it back without messing it up BIG TIME. Even if they made a "new" version it would be nothing compared to our classic XJs. That is why this place is so essential to all of us, we work together to keep them running at their best!

Over here, they stopped selling the 4.0 in 01 because that was the year that a new step in emmissions law came into effect. Some great engines died that year
Rover (Buick) V8, Fiat twin cam, Chrysler 4.0 -and that's just the ones I've owned or still own.

Yea, and all the tooling was sold to China, where they still make the engine today. Although not for the Beijing Jeep Cherokee like we thought, but insted it's put in Military vehicles mostly.
