I'm curious about year to year differences in xj interiors

Only main differences in the interior is the gauges, color, and weather you have leather/vinyl or not. Only other difference is 84-96 and 97-01 styles..
Police models have column shift and a couple extra buttons.

Heres mine, 89 Pioneer, 4.0l, Auto. Still dirty and full of garbage from when we went to the mudbogs (thats what happens when you have ungrateful friends):

I think the door panels differ some but that may be more from the trim package. mine looks exactly like the 89 pioneer. In 95 the steering wheel changed to accomadate a air bag. In 97 the entire interior was changed. thats all I know
