Many here have stated a true fact, you bought a Jeep, not a Ferrari. As for the "Bro Jeeps" (JK Wranglers), if you're trying to race them, don't because yes, the 3.8 and 3.6 can rev high but they're prone to breaking down and blowing up because they were not mean for it. You're 4.0L on the other hand will last over 300k miles where the JK motor will be lucky if it lives that long. Not to mention you have more pulling power in the 4.0 than the JK will ever have. Reliable and tough, yes. high revving and fast, no. Just cruise and enjoy where the road takes you instead of worrying about "street cred" bs. Besides, no one will remember any of that crap for long.
I appreciate how you said it. You weren't rude at all but you do have a point. But like i had said im not street racing with my jeep or specially with my evo. I had before when i used to have a little 2000 eclipse gts but i lost interest on it, it was dumb and like yall said putting some ones life at risk.

1) Don't be an ***. 2) You should have stated sand dunes and not street. You'd be surprised how many young guns come here wanting to race on the street.

Now on to business, if you have an H.O. model 4.0L, a supercharger or lower gears are going to be your best bet. You got to pay to play.

See below, but this is why you need to be as detailed as possible when posting on the forum. The number of idiots in the world far outweigh the rest of us...

Bingo. Any mod to make it go fast is high dollar. Hope you have a self-replenishing wallet...

I was going to mention that I have seen the back end of Grabber Wagons more than I would have preferred to at the time

CobraMarty is going to be the member here to talk to. Search his name and you'll find his SC thread.

You said drags but weren't specific hence the mass confusion.

Dammed hood won't close without it but with the turbo setup it was close could have made it fit but couldn't find a stock fiberglass hood at the time.

When on the street they asked what I was running just said a V-8 not a 6 then they always ask how big told them the truth 381 ci., most thought just what I wanted, that I was dumb and it was a 383. Really a 400ci Dart block de-stroked for several reasons (SB/10.5 tire class & Drag Radial), loved those days not to long ago.

One of the easiest cars to make work on the street I ever had out of 3 G-Body's 2 cars and the wagon plus the fastest mph in the 1/4 148.53
