Once you get them open again, clean the rubber and apply some silicone spray to them, rubbing it in.

This! I used canola oil cooking spray on my driver's door on my DD, worked perfectly. I thought canola oil might be safer for the rubber, but probably not.

My jeep runs great in this weather but doesnt want to get any hotter than 197* ish. Might have a thermostat issue.

197ish is about right aint it? Mine was straigth up at 210 since i bought it, but I noticed shortly after I did my exhaust mani that it wasn't heating up pretty much at all. I replaced my thermostat maybe three months ago with a stant premium and I think it works great. The one side of the old one was snapped and I think leaving it open. It occassionally reaches 210, but usually says like a sliver before it. Thats normal aint it?

It appears that this morning I may have broken my rear passenger door linkage. Rained and then flash froze

Factory stats are the best. Stants are a bit spotty in quality.

Not, but if it works, who cares. Silicone is actually great on rubber.

I should have waited for the dealership to open, but it needed to be done. Haha. I was driving it like that for a couple months. Would a had to wait 2 whole days for the dealership, and they still prolly would of had to order it.

Ah, you're doing okay. At least it's not opening WAY too soon or something.

mine is fine. a little sluggish at -18 ambient, but what do you expect ? it fires up and runs fine. I did put a small piece of cardboard over my giant aftermarket trans cooler. I feel like the 0 - -20 ambient air might not let the fluid warm up like it should. so glad I flushed the heater core. xj dragon heat ftw.

No starting or performance problems. Came right up the steep driveway. Only got down to 9 degrees f. No below zero.
