Yeah, that's what i was taught also. All the old 250(4.0L) straight 6 chevys, and the straight 6's ford used in the f250/350's in the mid 80's(probably longer, but those are the ones i remember) were indestructible! Inherently balanced was the exact term. Or inherently more balanced I suppose.

I have a roaring when I am driving...any ideas what this could be or are jeeps just loud? Its a 2004 WJ Grand Cherokee

Yes its the sound a WJ makes as its dying. Im sorry to say this but your WJ is telling you to buy an XJ. Its ok though because we all know its really thinking of your best intrest.

true but kaiser and amc could of at least kept the Tornado six in the lineup, would love to see one fuel inj.
