sorry jeep4 jason. The wj is a joke when compared to the xj. If you want to replace everything under the hood and chassis, keep driving the 'grand'. I had a 95 5spd xj country 260 that rips just as much as my 00 sport w 145k. Biggest issue=broken motor mounts in the 95 from heavy abuse(very heavy)

My 96 has 133000 miles. It's exempt from pa emissions and there is rust all over the trunk lid. I am a restoration specialist so I'm going to restore this piece to the best of my ability. (I'll be sure to put on a build thread)

136,000 on the dot as of today in my 97. Looking forward to the next 136,000, but hopefully an AX-15 will make its way into the mix somewhere along those miles

haha im a highschooler. and I beat my old 96 to hell. 12k without fluid change and im pretty sure theres a dent in the floor below the skinny pedal. but that was when I was 16 and 17. now Im 18 and more responsible and I have a real nice 99 that I take care real well. but i do totally agree if it was owned by a first time driver in highschool, and it's a jeep, civic, or altima, chances are, they beat the hell outa it.

well at 423,291 have developed a out of balance like vibration feels like a cylinder on a free ride, loss of a little power but the power comes back at 45mph and 2500rpm think fuel inj. may need to get replaced.

My first Xj was a 96, when I got rid of it it had 330K+ and did not burn a drop of oil. Should have kept it. My current 2000 has 100K+ and runs like a top.
