Default Highway RPMs

Wondering what RPMs you guys run at at highway speeds. I seem to sit just above 1800 at 55mph, sometimes just over 2000. I'm not used to Jeep gearing, so don't know what's normal. Between 50 and 65 the RPMs just climb slightly without seeming like its going to shift.
Seem normal to you guys? It feels a little high to me, like I should be at the bottom of the next gear.

Don't know about the autos but my stick will run around 2200 at 70+/- and around 1800 at 60ish.

Good link. I don't know half of those figures off hand, and I'm going to bed, but definitely some good homework material.

I'm running 225/75/15 as well, and that sounds about where I'm sitting so I'll figure it's pretty normal.

1800rpm @ 45mph with the ax-15, 4.56 gears and 35s.. so it's not exactly highway friendly

The difference between the 1800 and 2000 at highway speeds has to do whether the TCU is telling the torque converter to be locked or unlocked.

Your RPMs seem normal to me.

Cool. Thanks. I'm used to a Subaru, so just wanted to make sure. I'll let my self acclimate now.
