I've heard of some people getting away with gear oil lol and not blowing up the transfer case so heck just put in what you have available. Some people run ATF some people run 5w30 and some people run 15w40
And also this is what i got for the transmission, not going to flush it , i'll just drain the old oil from transmission and replace it. This oil is fine right? Thank you guys in advance ! Just trying to keep this jeep alive.

Might do this 2x before replacing my filter.
Yep. That's the right stuff. Even WalMart brand is just fine. If your fluid is dark, see my sig, #3.
Don't bother replacing the filter. It's just a mesh screen. As long as you do absolutely nothing to it at regular intervals you'll be fine. I service mine at 30,000 mile intervals. Every 30k miles, I look at my Jeep and say, "I'm glad I don't have to mess with the filter."
Keeps it humming right along, I'm tellin' ya.
The key is to be consistent at doing nothing to it. If you mess around and actually do something once in a while, you could mess things up.

i gotta check how dark my oil first then, i have not touched anything on the transmission yet ever since i bought the jeep 3 years ago, but the guy told me he change the transmission fluid every 30k.
right now i end up replacing my exhaust manifold cos i saw a damn crack. still waiting for the part to come though. i'm surprised all the pistons are pretty clean for a 215k miles jeep.
