Use 80/90 gear lube, if you plan on changing it often use regular lube. If you are not going to change it very often use synthetic.

My dad found a 5 gallon pail of royal purple sae 80-90 on his way home from work at 2 am in the middle of the road.... I bet someone is pissed. So I changed mine to this, and I just change it out in the front when I go thru alot of water. But this stuff is the bomb tho. It's worth the extra dough.

Royal purple no doubt. I would use all royal purple lubricants if i had the money. Definitely worth it if you can afford it

I just picked up a couple of quarts of 80w-90 gear oil for my rear differential and noticed that it says "limited slip for top off only". I do not have limited slip on my jeep and I am not just topping it off, I am replacing all the fluid. Will this still work?
