Default Gauge clusters

What year gauge clusters will fit in an 89? I have the cluster with speedo fuel gauge and idiot lights. I would like to put one in my jeep with speedo, tach and gauges.

The 87-90 cluster uses a cable that goes into the back of it for speed while the 94 does not.

I am. Chrysler switched to an electronic speedo with the introduction of the HO in 1991. Renix XJs use a cable-driven speedo.

There may be a caveat to this, because, other than the speedo cable, I believe the clusters are identical so it might be possible to swap the cable-driven speedometer pod unit into the newer cluster and have it work. The chassis is the same, as far as I know. I'd wait for someone else to confirm before attempting.
