The forbidden question...
I can understand that but I do own an actual offroad company! I was just givin you a cheaper option than draining your wallet! Any company that tells you some bull**** line of having to CUT the rear springs off is bull****! I've never ran across that here in the PNW! You can check out mine it's on 14"s and 37's

with DPoffroad here. What kind of shop needs to CUT your leaf springs off? When i was looking to do mine I asked a couple of local shops and they quoted me from the 400- 1500 range. Ended up "borrowing" a garage for three days to do mine.
Go with DP on this one. I did my 3" in about 6 hours by myself. A buddy let me use one of his shop bays with a hoist and that was that. Anyone saying they have to cut the rear springs has no clue what they're talking about. It's called either a can of PB Blaster or ZEP (if you can find it) and then a few tools. Air tools work wonders. Just make sure to get it aligned afterward.

So the $500 is for them to install it? what are they charging you for the kit? Or is the $500 for the kit, whats their installment price? cause No shop up here i Wa. Charges $500 for the kit and installment. even for a cheep kit. unless your just putting in the blocks/spring pucks.
i like how you quoted me previously and i dont think you even responded to my posting haha.
so what is your overall amout your looking at? or do you already have the kit purchased

Anyway, I have my own kit. The shop wants $500 to install it.

As for your driveline question i think you would be good with the slip yoke kit since you got it. Like alot of people say on here "every jeep is different" some say, "you can life 2in and have everything go hay wire, and some you can lift 4.5in and not have a single issue or have to change out anything." each jeep is unique. I lifted mine 3in in the front, and 4in in rear. My rear was fine, didnt need the slip yoke, but my front end ended up getting death wobble cause my steering stablizer bushing went bad when i lifted it. I had to replace my rear driveline once cause it got stolen off of it. I went to a Pull-A-Part "pick-N-pull" and i found myself looking at 5 different sized drivelines all off of Jeep Cherokee's from the same generation. I was like "WTF" i ended up buying 3 of em and returning 2. so if it comes down to your driveline not being the right size check out your nearest junk yard. $15 for one.
good luck, would love to see pictures of it when its all done
