Default Flag mount

So I want to mount a flag for this Memorial Day and I was seeing if anyone knows any good ways to do this.

I've seen people do this with their hitch but I do not have one on mine so is there any other way?

Not really unless you want one of those small flags. You can clamp to the roof rails if you have a roof rack. Some just stick to the windows. Don't waste your money on those flags, they wear out fast.

Get a vinyl flag overlay on your back window, the kind that's see through. Then you can have the flag forever!!!

I would but I'm kind of not looking to have it up all the time. Just to fly it for holidays

Is it possible to drill in some clamps onto the hatch?

Would that be a bad idea?

84-96 hatches are fiberglass. Those big flags creat a lot of stress due to wind resistance. I would not do it. Even with the 97-01 metal hatches I would not drill holes into it for a flag.

I sell a heavy duty stainless steel CB antenna mount for the tail light that can handle the weight of a small/medium size flag no problem.

Link in sig.

What diameter flag pole would I be able to use?

From what I saw in the pictures it appears quite small

Works great on fiberglass antennas!

The heavy duty mount I sell is made out of thicker-gauge steel than the ones in the thread pictures .

Use your imagination! Last 4th of July I cut a 8 ft. Lodge pole pine and mounted a flag to in. Used paracord to secure it to a Bike carrier. They loved it at the parade over here in Victor, Idaho!
