Fishing Pole Rack
Being my first thread I thought I would start by saying I just got my first Jeep Cherokee a month or so ago. I am looking for a fishing pole rack for the top. I have looked at Bass Pro, and Cabelas and didn't see much I liked. I would like to get one that can take highway speeds with out loosing the poles. I would prefeer a covered one, but have been considering making single pole holders out of PVC pipe from Home Depot. Any ideas would be great,,, THANKS

Why not go with one inside? I have this one mounted on my roof between the dome lights.

It's the fifth one down. The twist lock one.

I don't have a picture, but on my old chevy van I took a 4" wide 5' length of pvc and made brackets to mount to the roof inside. Used threaded end caps , keep neat and tiddy.
