Default Dyno, just for the heck of it...

So with all of the "upgrades" I have done on my XJ I decided to do a couple of dyno runs just for the heck of and see what improvement has been made.

The XJ is a 99 with a rebuilt 96 block, around 7,000 miles on the rebuild now. bored .030 over during rebuild. No other improvements were made to the block but the following has been done since the rebuild.

I believe the stock rwhp is around 130.

5,000 rpm on these 4.0s is screaming!

-2.5 exhaust all the way back after Header
-APN Header
-Performance Curve cat
-Dynomax Super Turbo muffler
-917 Injectors
-K & N CAI
-62mm Bored TB

-Almost done with a tune by Ryan Hogan

165 rwhp
211 rwtq

I'm always interested in dynos

Damn good numbers considering that its a bolt-ons stock motor (though it is very fresh after a rebuild).

I doubt mine is pushing more than 140hp to the wheels

Nope, Only internal work was bored 30 over when rebuilt, everything else was bolt on and tune.

Very smooth, the biggest difference I have noticed is how smooth the acceleration is, will not smoke the tires from a stand still. Acceleration at around 2000-3500 rpms is strong and smooth.

My mpg's are around 14 city, 20 highway.

Bumped up to 92 octane.
