Hello All,

Looking for some advice. I currently have a jeep patriot and the lease is up in a year or so. With that in mind, I am thinking of my next vehicle. I am wanting some advice on getting a Jeep XJ for cheap and then rebuilding it. I have two kids and this would be a daily driver to work but some mods would be great. Not looking to go real wheeling with but more of an eventual collector. Just wondering what year XJ i should look into and power plant options. Do I do a rebuild of an AMC engine or do an engine swap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, how much $ do you think this idea would run me? Thanks.
