Default dripping door frames???

When I open the front doors ( D & P ) and it's wet outside, water runs along the grooves on the top of the body and drips all over my door controls ( windows/locks/mirrors ) does this make any sence? anyone else have this problem?....my mechanic said it was just poor design, but is there something I can have put on that looks good and will keep it from dripping all over?

It even does it when I roll the window down, but drips on top of the inner door panel.

look and feel against the seal around the door. specifically where the roof meets the A pillar. Mine did that and the door was was not sealing properly. pretty easy to bend back into place or get a new seal

I finally got a picture of what's going on, I'm pretty mechanically stupid for the most part, so I thank you guys for being so helpful.

On the drivers side gutter (lip of the roof) there was a small hole, so I just used some RTV sealant lol, and it seems to do well. Better than silicone sealant anyway, lol.
When I go over my Jeep this summer, I will be taking care of alot of the "weatherproofing" problems it has.
As for my passenger door is warped all to hell....theres a 1/4" gap towards the front top corner of the door...lol, so it doesnt seal correctly anyways. Thats probably from me getting too close to a tree, that took off my passenger side mirror, haha ...no worries tho...I just go to the local JY and grab another.
