Default Defrost only?

WHat controls the selector switch in the jeeps. I have a 98. And it only works on defrost? I have my AC torn out if it makes a difference

check your vaccum pod then your vaccum lines. The vacuum pod should be behind the passenger hand side of the bumper.

Yes, it's the ball. Most people with custom bumpers relocate them under the hood. By relocate I mean shorten the hose and wedge it in somewhere.

Well check the ball and all your vaccum lines for cracks and such. Easy way to check for cracks you can't easily see is to spray the lines with starter fluid with the engine running, if theres a crack you'll hear a change in the idle for a second.

check the ball first, then just check them all connecting off from it.

Cool. I know I have a vacuum hose just hanging out in the middle of nowhere I'll have to get a picture of it.

The hose that runs to the ball connects to a T splitter along the inside passenger drivers side.
