Default Coolant sensor thread pitch

I am wanting to know the thread pitch for this coolant temp sensor for the dash gauge. I've searched and not found an answer.

I measure 10mm and the thread is straight, not tapered. I don't know the thread pitch.

Driver's side of the back of the head? Pipe thread.

Thanks for the reply.

This is the sensor from the back of the head. Straight thread, not pipe thread. Single wire.

The sensor at the front of the engine, thermostat housing, 2 wire and pipe thread. This is for the PCM and the AUX fan, right?

Don't bet on that.

I just need the sensor that sends the signal to the temp gauge on the dash. The temp sensor for the PCM is already on the engine I'm swapping in.

I've read so many forum posts on the net as to which sensor does what!!

The wiring diagram refers to "Engine Temperature Sending Unit" & "Engine Temperature Sensor".

The "Engine Temperature Sensor", 2 wires, goes to the PCM, not the dash.

The "Engine Temperature Sending Unit", 1 wire, goes to the instrument cluster. I presumed that this was the sensor I needed.

I'm confused

The Sender for the gauge is at the back of the head. It is pipe thread.

The Sensor for the PCM is in the thermostat housing.

In later years, the one in the thermostat housing performed both functions.

So, back to my original question: does anybody know the thread pitch of the small sensor at the back of the head, the one I posted the photo of?

Thanks

Thank you for your reply.

The thread diameter of the sensor in the photo, the one I removed from the back of the head, is 10mm, straight thread, not a pipe thread.
