temp control gauge
I am having a hard time locating my temp gauge wire on the engine. It's 99 Jeep Cherokee classic 4×4. 4.0 straight 6. My temp gauge and oil gauge are not working. Everything else works fine. I took dash out and made sure everything was good, clean, and had good connections. Any help on resolving this issue would be great. Or a quick easy way to wire up new additional gauges for both.

Do you know if the two gauges have the 12 volt power to them, when the ignition is on ? I assume you checked the fuses (?)
Having both not working suggests that the problem is common to both gauges, which I believe would be the 12 volt power source they need to work...
Not likely that the sensors/senders for both gauges would be a problem at the same time..
Another item that may be a problem is a connector in the wiring for the gauges that don't work...
