Yes people think like that because it is up to them and so is a sway bar. That's what this all comes out to. You all can b**** and moan all you want for another 10 pages if you want but it does nothing. Sometimes on a nice day I won't wear my helmet on my cycle.. so what? Doesn't effect you. I don't have sway bars on me jeep... sooo what? That's what I decided that I want.. so who gives a s***? Its not like leaving the oil filter off your engine, it is an option and personal preference simple as that.
Time to move on.

My springs and bilsteins made the front end so stiff, I can't tell the difference with or without. It's not like I auto cross the xj anyway.

Feel FREE to wear your helmet anytime
I'm NOT FREE to NOT wear mine.
Hell wear it in your XJ.
Safety **** or liberal know it all much ?
Let those who ride decide.

I would put my rear sway bar back on too but a scrapper came by and stole it with my saggy leafs. After I left them in the shop parking lot for only a month.lol

I only want my XJ lifted enough to crawl over a Prius.

My point is, everything we do to our jeeps pretty much makes the them less safe, if making a new thread to tell people you think there Jeeps aren't safe you may be on the wrong forum. If someone is dumb enough to follow advice online Blindly we don't need them in the Gene pool. I read all the opinions on the swaybar issue, my bushings were shot so I pulled mine and drove it to see how it handled decided for now to leave it off. I have a Brain and I choose to use it.

What if you replaced your swaybar with like a giant steering stabilizer? Like a shock off of a tractor arm. Push you back out of a roll over....

Or stabilizer arms off a crane truck that rapidly deployed.

Quote: single axle tow truck dude. The one pictured in my sig. In that picture I'm using it to tow a Mack with a 30 foot tag along with another tractor on the trailer.......towed it without the brake buddy. We added the larger sway bar 4 or 5 years ago when we noticed it would swing out on heavy loads....go figure..
Ahh. For some reason I thought your tow truck had tandems. Never mind me lol.

I removed my swaybar. So sue me. I drive highway too, and it's fine.

I advise you all to remove your sway bars completely.
