All opinions welcome!... summer is coming, and im going to tidy up the paint work.. I was thinking either going all black (murdered out!), or all OD, or a combo black and OD??.. here she is now, with her 13 year old scuffed up purple factory paint..

midnight blue,just a deep blue color,i think it will look good,but i like them lights your got on your bumper

thanks muddigger!..never thought of midnight blue..not a bad idea, s'pose it would blend better with the dark purple?..easier application. I was given the lights by a trucker at work. He had a row off them up top on his rig but a wharehouse worker accidently destroyed most of them with a forklift truck.. he gave me the 2 that were still in one piece. I just swapped out the 24v bulbs for 12v and they work fine. Not sure what make or type they are, but they give me a good amount extra light up front considering their small size.

know what you mean busted, but honestly the paint is pretty rough... laquer coming off, scratches everywhere, and some charming little sh#t ran a key or knife the full length of the drivers side the other night..the pic makes her look better than she does in real life!.
I dont want to get a professional job - my cousins are big quad bike enthusiasts, and drive a lot on some farmland a couple of miles up north (they know the farmer)..more and more im joing them in my xj, so I know id just scratch up a decent paint job on branches and such.. looking for something I can touch uo easily to make her look more civilised in her on road life.

I'll take a factory paint job with trail rash over a rattle canned flat OD paint job any day. The scratches and dings tell a story.

I'd say OD green, and add a star to the hood and such, give it a WWII kinda paint job... at least that's what I plan on one day.

I'm not a fan of the OD. It's become a real fad (in more than just vehicles) and I wouldn't advise it.
