Built axle or not, 37's are too much for a 30. The ring and pinion are tiny, and that becomes a huge weak link if you plan to actually wheel it

PS, sorry for jacking this MJ. I was asking cuz I don't feel like spending on gears :-) or cutting the rear more...

What are the vehicles that have close to same measurement. I wanna try to leave the d30 up front but dont want rear axle a bunch wider. What is close close to cherokee axles on how wide they are?

Most popular rear upgrades before full widths are: 29 spline 8.25, D44 from an XJ, and an ford 8.8
